I purchased a 3D printer, the Entina Tina2s

I recently bought a 3D printer because I wanted to create my own robot casing after building a robot the other day.

As I researched more about 3D printers, it seemed like a deep rabbit hole, so I decided to go for something affordable, compact, and with minimal need for adjustments. I chose the Entina Tina2s.

Bitly

There was also a T2basic model, but I opted for the T2s because the T2basic didn’t have a heated base (the plate that the bottom of the print touches), and the ability to upload data and check status via WiFi seemed convenient.

It took about 10 minutes to start printing right out of the box. The quality of the test print (a dragon from the sample data) looked more than sufficient.

I was amazed that I could do something like this so easily at home.

I was concerned about the noise during printing because of my family (I was prepared to cover the printer if it was loud), but it sounded no louder than a regular paper printer. In fact, the noise from the ventilation fan above was louder.

The print size is about 100mm x 100mm, but the printer itself is only about twice that size, so it doesn’t take up much space. It even fits on a metal rack I bought from Daiso.
